Frequently asked questions.

How do I pay for my delivery?

We accept payments over the phone, cheque, cash and online transfer (please contact us for details).

How do I know what quantity of gas is in my tank?

Each bulk LPG tank has a contents gauge located on the tank. Usually these are located on the top of the tank, next to the lid. The contents are displayed as a percentage, usually between 5% and 95%.

What is LPG?

LPG or Liquefied Petroleum Gas is a by-product of natural gas extraction and crude oil refining.

How far do our tanker hoses reach?

The maximum length our tanker hoses can reach is 38 meters. When making a delivery the driver should have a line of sight between the tank and tanker.

When should I order my gas?

Bulk customers who phone us to order should ring when their tank is on no less than 20%. Cylinder customers with a changeover valve should phone as soon as they see that the cylinders on one side are empty.

Can I put something around my cylinder to hide them?

Cylinders can be hidden from view as long as there is adequate ventilation around the cylinders at all times, and as long as we still have enough room to change the cylinders over when making a delivery. Please get in touch if this is something you would like to do and we can talk through the best options.

Can I screen my tank from view?

A screen can be used to obscure a tank from view, however this can only be located on one side of the tank. Any screen should not affect the ventilation around the tank, and should be located at least one meter from the tank. Please get in touch if this is something you would like to do and we can discuss possible options.

Do you service and install boilers?

We don’t currently offer this service ourselves; however, we’d be more than happy to recommend a qualified installer to help with your needs.
