Storage

  • Always store these bottles upright in a well-ventilated area at least 2 metres from any drain or cellar openings.
  • Take care with repositioning them as the total weight is around double the weight of the gas.

Things to Consider

Replacement

  • Please contact us if any gas bottles you have are no longer in use and we’ll come and collect them.
  • Always contact us if anything happens to damage one of our gas bottles while at your property/premises so that we can exchange it for you.
  • If ever in any doubt please give us a call.

Maintenance

We maintain and test all of our cylinders in accordance with the UKLPG codes of practice. You should have any appliances that runs off our gas bottles serviced at regular intervals by a gas safe engineer. A list of gas safe registered engineers in your area can be found here

Do not

  • Store your propane bottles inside for any amount of time.
  • Use propane (red) bottles indoors at your home, unless supplied from an external fixed installation.
  • Use propane (red) bottles indoors at a business premises without carrying out a risk assessment first.
  • Block access to your stored or in-use bottles, as access to the bottles could be required at any time.
  • Use incorrect regulators or hoses for the type of bottle or appliance.
